EligibilityStudents who would like to take Adult ESL classes must be: Live in Caregivers with Work Permit; Canadian Citizens; Permanent Residents; Provincial Nominees and dependents approved through Opportunities Ontario; Refugee Claimants; Foreign Workers with proof of Canadian Experience class 
Other Factors: Canadian Citizens must not have English or French as their first language; Canadian Citizens must not have been born in Canada; Must be of school leaving age or can provide proof of completed high school in native country; Provincial nominees must provide a copy of their Nomination Certificate; Temporary Foreign Workers must be approved through the Canadian Experience Class and must show their permanent resident visa and/or their Confirmation of Permanent Residence issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada
