ApplicationForms and instructions are available at any Canada Post outlet or on-line at www.passportcanada.gc.ca * these offices can now process in-person applications within the service standard of 10 days plus delivery delay, however, applicants should be aware that they may face long line-ups before they meet with a passport officer * it may take up to 23 working days to process applications sent by mail within Canada or submitted through a receiving agent (Canada Post or Service Canada * it may take up to 20 working days to process applications received by mail from the United States * to avoid further delays in getting your passport, make sure your application is complete by using the checklist detailing the most common errors * please note that delays may change based on the volume of applications being received. Passport Canada continues to seek ways to reduce service delays.
