Eligibility	Ages: 18 year(s) and up    Newcomers to Canada who wish to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
Application	To participate as a student in the LINC Home Study program, you first have to do an assessment of your language skills at one of the assessment centres in Ontario; if you are eligible, you may request the assessment centre to refer you to LINC Home Study or you can call the office directly; an eligible student cannot register with LINC Home Study and another LINC program at the same time; a student has to commit to a required number of hours to the program every week learning/studying the LINC level material; a weekly conversation session with the teacher and homework assignments are mandatory
Description	An English language program for newcomers to Canada who wish to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills * designed to provide new immigrants, who are permanent residents or convention refugees 18 years or older, with the tools to learn English in their homes * classes are taught by certified TESL instructors * students have a choice of using their computer or a textbook to study
