Eligibility	• Playwrights must be a resident of Ontario  • Musicals are not eligible but a play with music will be considered  • Full length and One-Act plays are eligible  • Submitted scripts must not have been published or professionally produced  • More than one submission per playwright is allowed  • All plays must be submitted in English  • The cover page should include all contact information but no information that identifies  the playwright should be located elsewhere in the script - the Jurists will have no  information regarding the playwrights  • Please submit scripts electronically if possible. Electronic submissions may be submitted  to scripts@theatrestarts.com  • Hard copy submissions should not be bound in any way. Please send hard copy  submissions to: Theatre Starts Inc, 315 Reading Place, Newmarket, ON L3Y 6H6  • Hard copy scripts will not be returned unless requested and a prepaid, addressed envelope  is included  SUBMISSIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY June 30th, 2011

Fees	Membership ; Admission ; Individual tickets are $12 per person * $60.00 for a 6 play pass to all readings * $96.00 to purchase a 12 play pass: the 12 play pass can be used for multiple tickets to a performance (e.g. 2 tickets to each of the readings or 2 tickets to some of the readings and 4 tickets to some readings or for one reading for a group of 12 people for the show - any combination is accepted)
Description	Selects talented writers of new works through a blind jury process and gives six to nine writers each year an opportunity to work directly with professional dramaturges to hone their script * the work will culminate in staged readings in a performance space at the Aurora Cultural Centre * the readings will be performed before an audience by trained actors and directed by professionals with international reputations * Writers will be invited to participate in a dialogue with the audience after the reading
