Description (Service) Volunteers provides a positive role model through a mentoring relationship * the HOST program is for newcomer children who have been in the country 4 years or less who are paired with one of the volunteers (there is a higher mandate for male volunteers due to the fact that most clients are boys) 
 
The volunteer will spend approximately 3 hours a week with the child engaging in activities they both enjoy, sharing their hobbies and skills to help a child stay on the right track

Eligibility Ages: 6 year(s) - 29 year(s) 
 
Volunteers are between 16 and 29 years old * children are between 6 and 15 years old
