Description (Service) Supports and services for children, youth, adults and older adults who have an intellectual disability and their families living in southern York Region * Immediate assistance and support with no waitlists including individualized guidance and support, education and self help workshops and groups * Respite options: March Break and Summer Camps for Children, Youth, and Adults in Stouffville, Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan, weeknight and weekend programs offered on an as needed basis

Respite Programs offers residential and day support * through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) and Regional Prioritization Process Residential Services including Group Homes, Supported Independent Living, Community Participation Program

Parent Operated Programs programs that are led and driven by parents and participants to create program options with the support and guidance of CLYS Coordinators

A.C.T. 4 Youth Initiative Employment program that assists youth with intellectual disabilities to achieve their independence and employment goals * supports youth who are transitioning from school with a coordinated community response

Outcome Employment Project employment program specializing in the support of people with an intellectual disability within the Chinese speaking communities * provides participants opportunity to develop an employment action plan, participate in job readiness programs, enhance work related skills and access employment and/or volunteer opportunities within Markham and Richmond Hill

Marketplace provides a selection of group educational courses, social activities and recreational opportunities for adults in with local municipalities and school boards

Learning Academy offers an educationally-based curriculum, with a focus on the practice and improvement of various literacy skills and community based activities * offered in Vaughan and Richmond Hill

Eligibility Community Support Program: individuals diagnosed with an intellectual disability (Documentations of diagnosis by a certified psychologist/medical professional may be requested) who live in Southern York Region (Markham, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Vaughan and Stouffville), no age limit for this program  
* A.C.T. 4 Youth Initiative: ages 20 to 29 * Outcome Employment Project: 18 years and older
