Description (Service) Ontario bridge training program * connects employers with highly skilled environmental professionals who bring international experience and credentials in Engineering & Geoscience, Ecology & Related, and Planning and related Disciplines * Participants attend training and workshops on a part-time basis during the day, evening and on Saturdays as required, for approximately 11 months * connect with their PAIE Coordinator weekly for job search assistance, as well as be able to spend time independently pursuing job search activities * Participants will gain an increased understanding of and exposure to the environmental industry and experts in the field, with the goal of finding employment in a highly specialized and competitive sector * an individual development plan will be identified to match the services of the program to the needs of the individual

Eligibility Ages: 21 year(s) and up 
Canadian citizens, permanent residents and convention refugees with no Canadian work experience or less than 1 year working in your professional field in Canada and not currently employed in field * Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Assessment at a minimum of Level 7 in all four skills areas (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening) obtained within the last 12 months * Must be internationally trained individuals with minimum of an undergraduate degree obtained outside of Canada and have a minimum of 3 years international work experience in and be targeting one of the following specializations or sub-disciplines: Engineering, Geoscience, Planning, Ecology, Green Building, Renewable Energy
