* Provide one-on-one support to bereaved individuals and families as referred by BFOYR staff 
* Assist with the completion of one-on-one intakes for individuals entering BFOYR closed groups 
* Co-facilitate closed support groups according to the agenda and guidelines supplied by BFOYR 
* Assist with scheduled support sessions

BAC offers programs and services to individuals with disabilities. We are looking for volunteers with skills and experience that can help improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. 
 
Directors attend BAC meetings, usually 5-6 meetings a year, as well as other fundraising events. 
 
Committee members attend meetings the second Tuesday of every month, most of them are via-teleconference and usually 3-4 meetings per year are at the BAC office at 6:00 p.m.  
 
Individuals will also be expected to volunteer in events held by BAC: workshops, golf tournaments, fundraising events and open houses to promote our programs and services.

• Community outreach and education: Represent LEAF at community events and talk with people about the Urban Forest and LEAF’s work. Share your knowledge and inspire others to take action.  
• Hands-on planting and stewardship: Get involved in our tree planting/stewardship events. Join our stewardship teams that care for our six Urban Forest Demonstration Gardens. 
• Tours and events: Assist with our tree tours and other engaging educational events.

• Provide support to participants and volunteers involved in CNIB's community advocacy and outreach work 
• Assist with implementing an outreach strategy to promote CNIB programs and services across all regions of the GTA, particularly those that are currently underserved by CNIB  
• Represent CNIB by attending health fairs, expos, and other related community events 
• Monitor and coordinate outreach events and program materials to ensure that volunteers have all the relevant resources  
• Participate as a fully integrated member of the GTA Foundation team with regular travel within the GTA. 
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of CNIB Ambassador and Advocate volunteers and track volunteer activity including capturing program statistics.
