Beyond Abilities Centre
BAC offers programs and services to individuals with disabilities. We are looking for volunteers with skills and experience that can help improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. 
Directors attend BAC meetings, usually 5-6 meetings a year, as well as other fundraising events. 
Committee members attend meetings the second Tuesday of every month, most of them are via-teleconference and usually 3-4 meetings per year are at the BAC office at 6:00 p.m.  
Individuals will also be expected to volunteer in events held by BAC: workshops, golf tournaments, fundraising events and open houses to promote our programs and services.

We are looking for 2 students from each school in the Holland River Community. If you are interested in becoming the ambassador for your school with the Canadian Cancer Society please apply today. 
You will help advertise and recruit your fellow students as volunteers for our Daffodil campaign in April, Relay For Life in June, and Pink Ribbon in October. This is considered a leadership position within the Society.

Bingo World Newmarket (1230 Kerrisdale Blvd, Newmarket, ON L3Y 8Z9)
• Welcome guests as they arrive and thank them as they depart on behalf of JHSYR 
• Customer counts during Bingo sessions and document in logbook 
• Circulate the gaming floor to provide customer service 
• Assist Bingo players as needed with gaming technology basics 
• Assist gaming staff with promotional events, handouts, and ballots 
• Attend 3 hour shift once every month
North Toronto Cat Rescue
Duties include volunteering in a cat shelter, assisting with marketing responsibilities, and preparing newsletters 3 times a year. Volunteer will also assist in fundraising activities.

Bell Ringers are required to be attentive to those around them, smile to those who pass by and thank them for making a donation.

The Team Captain is responsible for recruiting and coordinating a team of volunteers to implement the phone drives and ensure the team has the information and support they require to be effective. This position acts as a liaison between CNIB, volunteers and stakeholders.  
Tasks vary on event requirements; however, this position will always include:  
• Assist with team recruitment, selection, training and recognition  
• Conduct regularly scheduled follow up (calls or emails) with volunteers; report any issues or concerns immediately to supervisor.  
• Be available to volunteer team to provide support and guidance in their role  
• Responsible for managing all the in kind and cash donations during the event.  
• Report on volunteer hours and other event measurables.  
• Provide training and on-site assistance to the Event Team Members.
Volunteer Markham, Markham Civic Centre
The Volunteer Centre for Markham is looking for committee members for the following committees: Volunteer/Fundraising Committee and Marketing Committee. The Committee meets about once per month and is responsible for a yearly work plan.
Women's Support Network of York Region
Volunteers needed for: 24-hour Crisis Line, child minding, fundraising, bingo, Board of Directors and community event planning.

We are looking for reliable enthusiastic (must be 18+) volunteers to help at our weekly fundraising bingo. You would be responsible for promoting awareness of our organization to the bingo players, providing information on the gaming center and programs along with collecting before and after each game, keeping the area clean, and thanking the bingo players for supporting YBH.
