This one-on-one program matches elementary-aged school children with mentors (age 16+). It involves sharing an hour of quality time once a week, talking, playing games, sports and other non-academic activities in the child's school, during school hours.

Get a chance to meet former NHL pros such as Nik Antropov, Georges Laraque, and Ethan Moreau, and make a direct impact to help end youth homelessness at the 2019 Hockey Helps the Homeless York Region Tournament. Net proceeds stay local, in this case it would be 360Kids who help youth overcome crisis and transition to a state of safety and stability. The tournament will take place on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Angus Glen and Centennial Community Centre. 
There are many volunteer different positions including bag drop, registration, hockey operations, team host, and many more. We are flexible on time as well, so if you could make it out for even a few hours, we can accommodate that! You will receive a volunteer T-shirt as well as all meals & beverages provided during your volunteering. Community hours are also given to those who need it. 
We accept anyone and everyone who would like to become a Game Changer. Volunteer Training and Orientation will be provided.

Girls Group- Program runs every Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Looking to hire a facilitator who will be working with individuals with an intellectual disability.

Would you like to become a mentor by volunteering to be a positive role model for a child with social and/or emotional problems? Volunteers are matched with a specific child to share weekly activities in the community and provide the child with a positive role model. An average of 3-4 hours a week is required. Male and culturally diverse volunteers are especially needed. Mileage and some expenses are reimbursed. 
We also recruit volunteers for group support. Mostly evening time frames, one night a week for a couple of hours.

The Leisure Buddy program matches campers with mild special needs to individuals interested in providing the necessary support ensuring successful recreation and leisure experiences. The volunteers are not required to provide support such as toileting or feeding, the support simply involves the volunteer acting as a friend for the camper. Volunteers are always supported by summer camp staff and directors and will never be left alone with their camper.
