Objective: Work with advocacy team members to coordinate our Ambassador and outreach campaigns across the GTA, build relationships and help us reach people with sight loss in all areas of the region.  
 
Responsibilities & Tasks: 
• Proactive relationship building with community organizations who have shared goals with CNIB's mission 
• Provide support to participants and volunteers involved in CNIB's community advocacy and outreach work 
• Assist with implementing an outreach strategy to promote CNIB programs and services across all regions of the GTA, particularly those that are currently underserved by CNIB  
• Represent CNIB by attending health fairs, expos, and other related community events 
• Monitor and coordinate outreach events and program materials to ensure that volunteers have all the relevant resources  
• Participate as a fully integrated member of the GTA Foundation team with regular travel within the GTA. 
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of CNIB Ambassador and Advocate volunteers and track volunteer activity including capturing program statistics.  
• Other duties as assigned
Christmas Kettle Bell Ringers   Vaughan

Bell Ringers are to man their Christmas Kettles at the designated location. They will wish happy holidays to those who pass by and graciously thank those who make a donation. Bell Ringers are required to be attentive to those around them, smile to those who pass by and thank them for making a donation.

Habitat for Humanity Greater Toronto Area is currently recruiting volunteers for our ReStores. A ReStore is a retail store concept that sells new and gently used donated home furnishings and renovation materials at 50-80% off the original retail price. ReStore proceeds support Habitat’s mission of helping working, low-income families build a brighter future through affordable homeownership. 
 
Position Requirements:

• Assist with pricing and merchandising, product assembly and repair and donation drop offs 
• Attend all necessary Habitat for Humanity training sessions

Volunteer--Thornhill Seniors Wellness Program   Markham  Vaughan 
CHATS - Community and Home Assistance to Seniors
Volunteers required to pick up local seniors and drive them to a Wellness program at the Thornhill Seniors Centre. 
Program takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 10:30 to 1:00 pm. 
Volunteers can stay and support the program of wellness education, gentle exercise, socialization and lunch.  
Mileage is reimbursed at .45/km and lunch is provided.
Bingo World Helper   Newmarket

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
• Welcome guests as they arrive and thank them as they depart on behalf of JHSYR 
• Customer counts during Bingo sessions and document in logbook 
• Circulate the gaming floor to provide customer service 
• Assist Bingo players as needed with gaming technology basics 
• Assist gaming staff with promotional events, handouts, and ballots 
 
REQUIREMENTS: 
 
• Attend 3 hour shift once every month
